At Home with Heather

My adrenaline junkie husband went skydiving for the third time today. His brother David went with him and our friend and neighbor Chris. It was a rather crazy day, with the weather not willing to cooperate...It was sunny skies for the first set of 6 jumps, but then the air started to get a little cooler and a few minutes later we had ourselves a downpour. Renee, Haylee and I were there for support-we should get a BIG reward for waiting five hours for our men to jump out of a plane!


The whole time I was trying SO HARD to convince myself that it wasn't to scary and I was going to go, but I didn't quite get to that point in the FIVE HOURS we waited before the guys finally had their turn. I PROMISE though, I will jump next time!

I actually had a lot of fun hanging out, there is excitement in the air around the place, which makes for a laid-back, fun atmosphere.
Here is some pics of Sam's jump. They jumped just in the nick of time it started raining again about 10 mins after they landed! Hopefully next time I write about skydiving, it will be a first-hand review on the experience...
