Thanksgiving at our house.

This year Thanksgiving took place at "our" house. Minus a few members of the family, my dear other half, Sam, my brother Sean and my brother in law-Eric, they had to work. =(
So it was just me, my sister-Katie, my brother-Brandon, my nephew-Adien and my dad. We still had fun even though so many people were missing from our family.
Sam bought me a new camera so we took lots of pics, but the lighting didn't really turn out on a lot of them. And there is also a pic of our semi-Thanksgiving dinner-the table wasn't totally set. We did have the traditional Thanksgiving meal though-minus the cranberry sauce. For some reason we never did cranberry sauce in our family. =) And I have to admit-my dad did most of the cooking.

I am really looking forward to next year when Sam will be home for the holidays. Believe me I would have never thought at Thanksgiving last year that I would be married to the love of my life, but he would be away at war! It's really crazy when I start thinking about it.

It was fun to have Thanksgiving at our house for the first time, but I am really looking forward to next year when the whole crew will be present and I will be able to spend Thanksgiving for the first time with my husband.

Wow Heather I wish you and Sam could have been together.... I'm glad you guys all still had a good time. Your dinner looks yummy but how have you guys lived without the cranberry sauce all this time? And boy is that an optimistic comment Sam: "...good to see that the house hasn't burnt down or caved in yet." man. Way to be positive! lol
